Perhaps this seems to come out of the blue, but it doesn't. At least not for me.


I don't know why I applied to Uppsala University at all. I really don't want to stay here another year. And when I say "really don't want to" I mean I'd rather have a Hugh Grant marathon followed by a Rolling Stones marathon followed by a Charles Dickens audiobook marathon. For those of you who don't understand how much I do not want that, this picture illustrates it pretty well:

I want to stay in Uppsala as much as Dan wants Rorschach to die.

If I don't get in at Lund I want to start studying next year and work abroad for a while first. I'm thinking fruit picking in Australia (hey, I've always wanted to go there) or something like that. In fact, I might do it even if I get in at Lund this year. See, if I start (the equivalent of) a BA in Arabic next semester, I'll be done the year I turn 25. Who knows where my wanderlust might have gone by then?

Seriously, the years have not been kind to this flick. There was nothing scary or interesting about anything in it; it was just unbearably dull and Bela Lugosi made me laugh.
